On the 14 of June 2011 the fight to bring down the rent prices in tel-aviv has started, a tent city has popped slowly and rapidly started to grow everyday, starting at the heart of tel-aviv and growing into different cites around the country.
Starting with one girl who simply had enough and very quickly infected thousands of souls from all corners of the land and the systems they have been tired to being enslaved to.
Since I don’t really live here and I have lots of friends outside of Israel I decided to capture this amazing creation of self driven souls fighting for what they believe is right for them, I don’t care much about politics and I am not a fighter when it comes to violence or anger/hate issues but I do care about justice and I love to see something energetic growing right under my nose.
I’ve been visiting the camp grounds for a few hours every day since the first day and capture a little of what I believe was powerful to my eyes, I am one of thousands with a camera and not special in any form or shape when it comes to showing the truth, I simply click and post, what I see is what you get, I decided to share a bit of what is going on here simply because I am seeing it from an outside perspective and right now I am deep on the inside of it all…
Every single day there are more tents and more and more people are joining in on the cause, the cause itself has shifted from lowering the rent to a total change of the social and economical system, every few days I see new posters and groups forming to fight something else that was pushed under the table, it really feels like a massive united frustration front fighting to shift the system to something worth living for.
